![]() I have some code that tries to activate what I need for the table every so often until it works. Yuzu JIT compiles code, so the best way to Activate is by pressing F1. This game has more systems, so I might add a few more options when I have time or need them in my play through. I know they are remaking this game in the HD-2D format like Octopath, but not sure when that is releasing.Īnyway, I have a starter table ready that has most basic options like my other tables for the first 2 games. This one really fleshes most of the series staples out. The smartphone, Playstation 4, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch releases are based more closely on the mobile remake of the game.I have finished replaying the first 2 Dragon Quest games on Switch with Yuzu and now I think I'll move on to the third installment. A unique aspect of the mobile versions are they give the player the option to let the computer AI control their party members. This version also lacks the monster medals and Ice Caves bonus dungeon of the Game Boy Color version too. However this version lacks the pachisi minigame. It borrows the appearance and most of the changes (including the bonus dungeon) of the Super Famicom version. These medals are needed as they allow the player to explore deeper into the Ice Caves.Ī remake was also released for mobile platforms. Defeated monsters can now drop Monster Medals. This dungeon ties in with the other addition which are Monster Medals. One addition is another bonus dungeon called the Ice Cave. ![]() While the Super Famicom version had the above changes, the later released Game Boy Color remake has a few more additions. Additionally, the game also has the five minigame boardgame tracks known as Pachisi (later known in the series as Treasures n' Trapdoors) added to it. The game also includes a personality mechanic that effects how party members develop their attributes. Aside from a graphical and sound overhaul and other typical tweaks of a remake, this version of the game introduces a Thief class, more weapons, armors, items, and spells, a collectible mini medals sub-quest, searchable background objects, an extra dungeon (Sky World) with new monsters, and an additional boss monster. An enhanced remake of Dragon Warrior III. ![]()
